In the immediate area surrounding the lodge there are many activities on offer. Outdoor pursuits to suit the active and the less active include hill walking, climbing, mountain biking, trail running or walking, canoeing, sailing, windsurfing, fishing, golf, horse riding, bird watching, whisky tasting and visiting garden centres, many in a natural setting.
In winter, skiing, snowboarding, cross country skiing, mountain skiing, winter climbing and walking. Cairngorm and Lecht Ski Centres are equidistant from the Lodge.
The area around Nethy Bridge is renowned for offering miles of gentle marked footpaths within ancient Caledonian pine forests. Inverness is only a 40 minute drive away and has a full range of indoor and outdoor sports facilities and extensive shopping.
