Visitor attractions in the vacinity of Ryvoan Lodge are plentyfull. The annual husky dog sleigh race at Loch Morlich is well worth watching. Children will love the Highland Wildlife Park at Kingussie, The Landmark Visitor Centre at Carrbridge, the Strathspey Steam Railway between Nethy Bridge and Aviemore, the soft play centre at Coylumbridge, Cairngorm Reindeer Centre, sandy beach on the shores of Loch Morlich and the working sheepdogs by Kincraig. Swimming pools and parks are located both locally and in Aviemore. The 9 hole golf course within Nethy Bridge itself is ideal for children and adults. There are also tennis courts and a bowling green, and dont forget the local whisky trail!
The area around Nethy Bridge is renowned for offering miles of gentle marked footpaths within ancient Caledonian pine forests. Highland Games have taken place in Nethy Bridge since 1880 and are held annually on the 2nd Saturday of August.
